Over the past couple of months, I’ve been building up a catalog for a little something called “Project ‘26”.
For the year 2026, I’ll be releasing a new piece every two weeks starting on 01/01/2026.
That’s right! As soon as the clock strikes midnight of the new year, one random piece of work will be released.
There will also be a time when I’ll make the complete ‘Mystery Box Digital Album’ available for purchase!
In this box, you’re sure to find some of this and a little of that. Maybe. Who knows, it’s a mystery!
August was all about transformation, focusing on change and the process of becoming something new.

The analog vox passes through the Blue Kaotica Eyeball filter and the sound pressure hits the cardiod of the AKG C214 transducer. As the analog converts into a digital signal, the Mogami cable then carries the signal to the UA Apollo interface, which is indirectly connected to the DAW, Reason 12.
Now that all the vocals are done, we can finish up the rough mix; before we take a break and come back to do last minute fixes to the mixes.

I was excited about this verse when I sent it for a collab.
After it all fell through, I decided to create a new instrumental myself.
No sense in letting a verse go wasted, right?

HOW TO REGISTER YOUR WORK
First I distribute with DistroKid. Once I get the ISRC, I head to ASCAP and create a new work. I fill in all the details and copy the ISRC from DistroKid. After everything is released, I go to TuneCore Publishing and add the song to my catalog using the Spotfy link. I input all the details and verify the splits and submit the work for review. More on TuneCore, MLC and Sentric later. 🫡
